Synopsis *myversion*

Tong Jia Di is a college girl whose goal in life is to pay all her family’s debt. She’s called Taiwan Ashin(if m not mistaken), Queen of Jobs, Notes Girl, Good Family Virgin. aha, not quite sure with all these nicknames. Most of these are tagged by her bestfriend Xiao Nan.

One time, the Mall they are working for part time is having an event(i think its an outreach event). They have these booth that offers exchange coupons.

The gentleman handsome General Manager and future CEO of the Huo Mall Huo Yan picks up the Love coupon?? and Huo Da, Huo Family’s hard headed, devlish and brat second son picks up the Master and Angel Coupon,.

Huo Yan and Huo Da are childhood warmates(hehe)

At first, Huo Da is completely irritated with Jia Di while Huo Yan seemed to be interested to Jia Di’s cute personality on first meeting.

Huo Yan becomes Jia Di’s 10th Guy during her 20th bday when her friend Xia Nan wishes her that whoever is the 10th guy who will pass through them, Jia Di will have to ask for his number. By way of fate, the 9th and 10th guy are Huo Yan and Huo Da racing. Huo Yan won the race and eventually Jia Di got his number.

Yan Shu is Huo Da’s childhood and forever love but Yan Shu likes Huo Yan and Huo Yan does not like Yan Shu. Later both Huo Yan and Huo Da will fall for Jia Di.

Throughout the first episode, Huo Da and Jia Di always meet around. Later, Huo Da makes Jia Di work for him in exchange of the coupon.

THere were several conflicts and misunderstandings that Jia Di had to face through but with people that loves her, she’s always been rescued.

At the middle of the whole series, I really didn’t have any idea who will be Jia Di’s guy Which kept me from watching until the end!

The Cinderella story is still catchy for me. Love the kilig and kulitan moments

A trouble maker boy is usually a person with drastic pasts and has a good heart who turns into a person 360 degrees reversed.

Anyways..

1. One Tree Hill

Of course, I would go for OTH. lab lab. A story of a low profile typical basketball guy named Lucas gets into the varsity team who falls in love with a blonde girl, Peyton, whose life is her art, rock music and cheerleading. Her current boyfriend is the captain ball of the varsity team, Natahn, and is theLucas’ half-brother. Lucas and Nathan never treated each other as brothers. Lucas’ bestfriend Haley is the witty conservative tutor girl in school and later becomes Nathan’s love ineterest. Peyton’s bestfriends Brooke is the bitchy type yet so true bff of Peyton but later also becomes Lucas’ lover. All these characters are in this small town of Tree Hill yet hoops and twists change all their lives.

Most of the characters in the series use their abilities to bring about positive change. However, with the good comes the bad as there are characters such as the evil Sylar, who are determined to control the world by murdering fellow heroes and stealing their powers.

3. Grey’s Anatomy

a Comedy-drama series

Grey’s Anatomy is a hospital drama that focuses on Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo), one of several first-year surgical interns, (now first year resident) at a Seattle, Wash., hospital. Along with her colleagues, Meredith struggles to maintain relationships while staying sharp at her new job.

The professional roles and real lives of a diverse group of surgeons collide unexpectedly in this Golden Globe-winning ABC television drama. As an intern at prestigious Seattle Grace Hospital, Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) tries hard to live up to the reputation of her legendary surgeon mother while hiding the fact that her mom now suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. As if life weren’t complicated enough, Meredith also falls for her boss, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), a surgical resident recently relocated to Seattle from New York. Meredith’s friend and rival Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) finds herself in a similarly taboo romance with Preston Burke (Isaiah Washington), Derek’s chief competition for the title of chief resident. As for Meredith and Cristina’s fellow interns — Isobel “Izzie” Stevens (Katherine Heigl), George O’Malley (T.R. Knight), and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) — they’ve got problems of their own. Izzie doesn’t want to be judged for her underwear-model past; Alex is better at bedding the ladies than bedside manner; and George can’t get any of the women around him to see him as anything but a cuddly friend. All five interns answer to the roar of senior resident Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), affectionately known as “the Nazi.” But even Dr. Bailey jumps to it when Chief of Surgery Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) is on the scene.

4. Gossip Girl

Based on the book of the same title, Gossip Girl. The story revolves on the lives of Manhattan’s elites. Blair Waldorf is envied by a lot for her perfect life including her gorgeous boyfriend, Nate Archibald. Suddenly, her ex-bestfriend Serena Van der Woodsen comes back on stage after being kicked in boarding school. Chuck is also in the scene being Nate’s best friend and not to forget Dan Humphrey, the smart-but-not-rich who is lucky to be on the same school with these elites through scholarship.

Chuck - Just got hooked up with the first season.

GLEE - Hearing a lot from this. Already got a copy and is also on my pending list.

CSI! - i would really like like to see the whole series. There goes my love for msyteries and decodings :D

The list above are just the few that I've watched anyhow, i’ve heard and read that the following are worth watching for too.

The OC – same creator of Gossip Girl

Gilmore Girls

Prison Break – they say if you like heroes, you will like this too

Smallville - too many seasons!

He plays the role of Gu Jun Pyo in the Hana Yori Dango Korean Version Boys over Flowers. Also known as Dao Min Ahse in Meteor Garden – Taiwan version which aired the earliest and known as Domyouji in Hana Yori Dango – Japanese Version where the manga series HYD really originated.

The series is based on the Japanese Shojo Manga Series Hana Yori Dangoby Yoko Kamio. It has been aired in live action by Taiwan in their version ofMeteor Garden. This is the first version that really caught the attention of Asian girls. The Boyband F4 was really a hit then. I’m a self – confessed MG and F4 fan when I was in highschool. ^^ Meteor Garden was a phenomenon way back then. It was followed by a sequel which I didnt really like.

The second version was released by Japan with the storyline more based(i think) on the original manga. Im not sure but I think there a lot in MG that are just add ons compared to the original. It was not that a hit in the Philippines although I also got fond of watching it when I was in 1st year College. I was also able to watch the Hana yori Dango The Movie recently.

The third version released by Korea entitled Boys before Flowers seems to be becoming a hit although it just started to air at ABS CBN’s PRIMETIME Bida. I have been hearing a lot of good feedback from my friends and schoolmates and acquaintances. The Korean Version is more patterned in the Meteor Garden. There are only a few that are highlighted with better twists and turns. I would give the actors a high five because even if I already know the story, they still make me crave for each episode and want me to watch more. Each episode excites me. Good things I’ve already finished it. haha. For me the Korean version is better than the Taiwan version.

Actors are good(although the actors in the others versions are also good)

They are good looking esp Lee min Ho:)

They added more twists and turns from the MG scenes.

They can connect to the viewers. There are times that I get really mad on the tv because of the scenes. I also get kilig. It’s also a good move that they made in the show that Ji Hoo/Lei also loves Jan Di/San Chai. I pity him a lot. I also had an instance when Im saying, “kay Ji Hoo ka nalang cos he’s always at Jan Di’s side during here worst”. haay.

love the drama!

i just noticed that season 2 of meteor garden was put together in the last episode(eps 25) of Boys over Flowers.

Not a good start for episode 25. The ending was so-so. At least it didn’t go below my expectations.

BTW, there are speculations that ABS-CBN will be producing HYD Philippines. err. I wonder who the casts will be. they better make it good. hoping its not kim chu who already portrayed the lead role in the Filipino version of mygirl. Im eyeing for Sarah! haha. I remember Very Special Love and You changed my life. I think she’ll be suited in the role of JanDi/SanChair since HYD is a Romatic Comedy series.
